The partner company's area of activity is is worldwide the field of binders and adhesives for the production of wood-based materials and adhesives for bonding wood-based materials to themselves or to non-wood-based materials such as plastics and metals. BASF has know-how in the development and production of adhesives and binders as well as in their use in numerous applications, especially in the area of wood-containing materials.
DYNAmore
The partner company's field of activity is the further development of the FE solver LS-DYNA in the field of material modeling of wood-based materials and modeling of joining solutions for integrating wood in multi-material structures. In addition, DYNAmore offers engineering services (support, training, FE simulations, material testing and material characterization), software development and sales of the FE solver LS-DYNA and other products such as FEMZIP, Digimat, Envyo, etc. in Europe.
Evon
The partner company's fields of activity include software development as well as services in automation and control technology for the areas of building and traffic technology as well as the process industry. For the development of the function-oriented process control, the project partner evon contributes its entire potential of evon XAMControl as well as its many years of experience in the field of digital networking of machines and plants, sensors and actuators up to intelligent control and evaluation for such complex industrial processes.
IB STEINER
The partner company's area of activity of the partner company for all application areas on the market is the area of product creation with the development and design of components, assemblies and products made of plastic as well as plastic components modified with wood. This also includes competence analyzes, competence building (training), brainstorming for innovations, the use of virtual development tools for simulations as well as the development and implementation of new manufacturing processes and manufacturing processes. The associated range of services at IB STEINER in product development includes, among other things, the creation of requirement profiles, systematic solution finding, feasibility analyzes, component design with construction and simulation for static and dynamic loads in short-term and long-term behavior, value analysis and economic evaluation, material selection and material simulation (especially plastics and plastic composite materials, materials for hybrid components), testing and test execution as well as processes (development, simulation and optimization up to implementation in series use), especially with regard to connection technologies and the area of plastic and hybrid technologies, such as injection molding and special injection molding processes (including exjection, hybrid injection molding, assembly injection molding, composite injection molding, multi-material injection molding).

The partner company's area of activity is the development and production of high-strength reinforcement materials based on cellulose filaments, i.e. mainly on technically high-quality viscose filament yarns. The processing activities of the partner company also include the areas of cellulose functionalization in order to optimize the interaction of the reinforcement material, as well as the yarn production and modification of cellulose.

The partner company's area of activity is the development and production of high-quality coating materials that are sold worldwide. The partner company has extensive expertise in the area of surface coatings and the identification of suitable coating systems for different applications (from technical foils to highly stressed surfaces).

The partner company's area of activity is technical management along the entire product development process and the entire value chain. The partner company specializes worldwide in the areas of interface management, organizational development and project and quality management, with an industry focus on the wood industry, vehicle industry and manufacturing industry.
Pfeifer
The partner company's field of activity is the manufacture of products for the construction, packaging and energy industries, such as glulam, shuttering panels, CLT and pellets. The constant and innovative new and further development of the products enables Pfeifer to achieve the goal of "Net Zero" with wood as a key material. With about 2.600 employees and 13 factories in 4 countries, Pfeifer is one of the largest sawmill companies in Europe. The manufactured products are exported and processed there to approximately 90 countries around the world.

The partner company's field of activity worldwide is the application-oriented preliminary and series development of vehicle concepts, components, materials, manufacturing and recycling processes and software in the business areas of individual mobility, passenger transport and freight transport, as well as the production, offering and selling of vehicles and infrastructure.
Weitzer Woodsolutions
The partner company's area of activity worldwide is the production and sale of single and multi-layer wood products for interior work. Weitzer has know-how in product and technology development as well as in the design of different production sizes, from single-part production to large-scale production. In addition to various approaches to production optimization, Weitzer deals with the development and production of wood and wood hybrid products for use in vehicle and mechanical engineering, the consumer goods sector and in the construction sector. The range of competencies ranges from component design, component calculation, component design, component production structure to component production - from the manufacture of individual or small series prototypes and demonstrators to the planning of quality-assured and series production processes for the various wood-based parts.
The project CARpenTiER "Modelling, Production and further Processing of Eco-Hybrid Structures and Materials" is funded within the framework of COMET - Competence Centers for Excellent Technologies by BMK, BMAW and the Province of Styria. The COMET program is managed by the FFG.
